The researchers at the U-Smart lab merge interdisciplinary concepts and methods from mathematical optimization, control theory, economics, and reliability theory for economic, resilient and sustainable operation of power and energy systems, integration of distributed and renewable energy resources, transportation electrification, and water and energy nexus.
