Utah has tremendous potential for energy storage technologies beyond lithium batteries. These technologies will help push forward the power of renewable energy while providing greater grid reliability and resilience to the state’s households and businesses.
To highlight energy storage potential in Utah, we partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Electricity Energy Storage Program, Sandia National Labs, Pacific Northwest National Lab, Mustang Prairie Energy, Quanta Technology and the University of Utah’s Utah Smart Energy Laboratory, to present the State of Utah Energy Storage Summer Webinar Series in July and August 2020.
